Losar is approaching. The Earth Sow is slowly making way for the Iron Mouse.
Many events and activities are planned for the days leading up to Losar, in addition to the Feb. 24 Losar celebration.
With the Iron Mouse comes a new program! We are adding a Feb. 24 children’s program to this year’s festivities.
In celebration of the Year of the Mouse, children may make “mouse masks” and listen to storyteller Lynne Conrad Marvet share a folk tale, “The Strongest Person in the World,” about a family of mice.
As part of the merriment, we also will play games, sing songs and share a snack together. The children will be invited to join in the final minutes of the adult ceremony by placing a flower on the alter with their parents.
Please register for the children’s program HERE.
