Nalandabodhi Mindful Activity Practice

Nalandabodhi’s Path of Mindful Activity (PoMA) offers opportunities to connect Buddhist teachings with the practice of meditation, and then put both into action. By integrating the practices of mindfulness with the aspiration of bodhichitta (the intention to benefit all beings) the Path of Mindful Activity supports bringing all that we encounter in daily life to our spiritual path.

PoMA activities can include journaling exercises to clarify intention and aspiration; bringing mindfulness and clear intention to pouring water, creating flower arrangements, and active listening; and creating reminders to help with finding and re-finding the thread of intention throughout the week.

Path of Mindful Activity workshops are held on the 4th Sunday of each month and are open to all.  They include a period of Shamatha meditation practice. A suggested donation of $5-10 helps defray the costs of materials and space rental, but all are welcome regardless of donation so please do not let this be a barrier to enrolling.

Note: In connection with this weekend’s Tara Drüpchen in Seattle, we may be livestreaming a portion of the event during our practice and study time.
