Buddhism for Babies, Families, & All–this week with special songs and stories!

10:00 am - 11:30 am

Buddhism for Babies (and Children and Families of all Kinds) welcomes a special guest for songs & stories
Nalandabodhi Philadelphia’s Buddhism for Babies is hosting Nalandabodhi teacher and musician, Chris Stagg, on Sunday, March 18th from 10 – 11:30 am. Chris, who has degrees in voice performance and music education, recently translated The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa (Shambhala, 2018) under the direction of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. He will tell stories of the great Tibetan yogi, Milarepa, and will teach and lead us in singing some of Milarepa’s songs. As always families with young children are especially welcome, and we’ll offer time for playing and snacking, too.

Our aspiration is for these monthly meetings to serve as an introduction to Buddhist practices for children (of all ages) in the presence of our entire community. We meet at Children’s Community School in West Philadelphia/University City on the third Sunday of each month from 10-11:30am.  To offset costs, a per family donation of $10 is suggested. ***Please RSVP if you plan to attend!***

NOTE: To RSVP or if you have any questions please send an email to philadelphia@nalandabodhi.org.
